This fox has been painted on a 1966 map featuring Leicester. I love the way it ticks two boxes - of course foxes are found in most places, indeed there is a high fox population in Leicester, but it also ticks a football box as Leicester City FC are of course known as The Foxes :) This has made me think that maybe I need a series of such maps - a Sheffield owl, a Derby Ram etc. Watch this space!
Anyway, it is on sheet 121 and is framed (39 x 46cm) ready to hang on your wall.
